*SLOTEN*
Die allererste (Ente): Wir wußten, daß wir zusammengehören, als wir einander das dritte Mal sahen. Just zu dieser Zeit beschloß der damalige Besitzer, für einen beruflichen Auslandsaufenthalt ein schnelleres (noch schneller?) Auto zu kaufen. Der Deal war schnell gemacht, 7 Monate vor meinem achtzehnten Geburtstag! Und da man in jenem Alter noch sehr knapp bei Kasse ist, einigten wir uns noch auf Ratenzahlung (denn eine damals nichteinmal erst zwei Jahre alte Ente bekommt man ja nun doch nicht so wirklich nachgeschmissen, auch wenn damals noch keine Doppelscheinwerfer, kein Winkelgrill und kein milka-blauer Kö mit Beleuchtung drauf waren).	Vösendorf/Austria	The first (2cv): We knew we should be together when we saw each other for the third time. At this time the former owner wanted to have a faster car for driving to work abroad. The deal was perfect in a short time, 7 months before my 18^th birthday! (The car) SLOTEN was nearly two years old at this time, so it wasn't as cheap as NESSIE was (although it hadn't a double-eyed front, the chevrons-grill and a milka-blue colored Queue de Paris at that time).
*AKDY*
Das Nord-/Süd-/Ost-Auto: Den nördlichsten Punkt meiner persönlichen Landkarte habe ich mit diesem Auto erreicht: das Nordkapp am 10. Februar 1996. Überhaupt hat diese AKDY durch die zweimalige Teilnahme an der Raid Laponie nur um ein ´S´ weniger als ich selbst und ist somit immerhin SSF (SuperSuperFinn). Auch die Raid Laponie 1998 East hat sie überlebt: Wir erreichten den östlichsten Punkt der EU (der liegt in Finnland und sogar noch weiter östlich als Istanbul!) und durften -44.4°C miterleben. Als südlichster Punkt, den ich mit diesem Auto erreicht habe, gilt Bonifacio, die Südspitze Korsikas.	Anse Fornello/Corse	With this Acadiane I reached the Northernmost, the Southernmost and the Easternmost point on my personal map. North: Northcape on the 10^th February 1996 on the 6^th Raid Laponie East: Easternmost point of the EC (which is in Finland and lies even more East than Istanbul!) on the 7^th Raid Laponie (where the temperature fell down to -44.4°C!) South: Bonifacio, the Southernmost point of Corsica.
*Pluto*
Mein Sargnagel! Im zarten Alter von zwei Jahren habe ich mir einen HY gewunschen, 18 Jahre später ging dieser Traum dann in Erfüllung. Hat vielleicht irgendjemand Lust, die Antriebswellen zu tauschen? Immerhin hat Pluto im Jahre '91 die Steigung auf den Sustenpaß in der Schweiz zum 9^th international meeting of 2cv-friends mit Bravour gemeistert!	Southern France	When I was 2 years old I wished to have an H-van, when I was 20 years old I had one: Pluto. Now the driveshafts should be changed (who wants to do this job?). In 1991 it was no problem for Pluto to climb up the Sustenpaß in Switzerland to the 9^th international meeting of 2cv-friends!

*NESSIE*
Meine Alljahres-Allwetter-Ente: Innert etwas mehr als vier Jahren bereits über 131.000km gemeinsam gespult (unter anderem auch über das Stilfserjoch mit seinen 2718m auf dem Weg zum Urschweiz-Treffen und in die Heimat von NESSIE selbst: Schottland)! Da ich dieses tolle Auto mit 96.000km übernommen habe, hat sich der Tacho bereits zum zweiten Mal überdreht (siehe Details). Außerdem ist NESSIE das schnellste all meiner Geflügel: Bad Reichenhall-Wien in exakt 3 Stunden oder Graz-Wien in 1¾ Stunden! Obendrein das billigste Geflügel in der Anschaffung: Der Kaufpreis war öS 300,-.	Thurso/Scotland	The whole-year-all-weather-2cv: In a bit more than four years we drove more than 131.000km (nearly 82.000 miles) together, we reached the Stilfserjoch in Italy (2718m) and Thurso in Scotland. Because I got this car with 96.000km on the counter it showed 00000 (see details) the third time in it's life (the first time noone of us has seen ...) and it's my fastest (sometimes about 110 km/h average speed!) and cheapest car (about 23$ when I bought it).
